Review of The Karate Kid (2010) by Richard B — 31 May 2018
The Cinematography Of An Often Shrouded Country, Hidden With Mystery Is Masterfully Done...So One Star There. As For The Rest?? It Is A Disneyfied Remake Of An 1980's Classic, Which As A Story, Is Now Completely Out Of Touch With Modern Day Anti-Violence Stances On Resolving Petty Differences.
The Soundtrack Is Also Rubbish Compared To What Made The Original. In This Sense This Is More Of A 'Remix' Than A 'Remake' & In This Way, It Does The Original No Favours, As This Version Is Rubbish & Will Further Confuse Movie-Philes As To What Was In The Original That Made It So Good.
. Which Was It Just Connected With Teens At The Time. Myyy, How Far The World Has Since Drifted..Not Sure What It's Ultimate Goal Was..But Without Jackie Chan..This TRULY Woulda Bombed.
