The remake of classic eighties movies seem to be a theme right now in Hollywood. So I guess it was only a matter of time before they set their sights on The Karate Kid. The Karate Kid is a movie that I have never been a big fan of, but I must admit I have seen several times and will always be a classic.
The remake is one of the better Hollywood remakes and while cheesy at times is just as enjoyable as the original in my book. But I will not be buying this one, I have the original and will stick with it.
