Review of The Karate Kid (2010) by Aaron M — 05 Jul 2014
Karate Kid is a little corny and cheesy, also Jaden Smith's acting ability is dubious. However this remake is fresh and inspirational. There does happen to be a regular theme of moments between children doing things which seems unnatural and is often cringeworthy but if you look past that its a good drama which is never boring or slow and is quite uplifting.
Its the type of movie which anyone can enjoy, it also stars a childhood favourite of mine, Jackie Chan.
