If you can get past the smothering of CGI... everything (which somehow doesn't undermine the movie at all) it's actually a pretty brilliant movie. Who'd have thought one kid and a menagerie of computer-animated talking animals in an ancient jungle would become one of the biggest movies of the year? The voices were spot-on.
Side note: Let's hope David Attenborough doesn't catch wind of this fantasy jungle were panthers, wolves, tigers, pythons, elephants, monkeys & bears all live together in the same ecosystem.
