Review of The Jazz Singer (1927) by Trevor R — 20 Oct 2008
The first motion picture to have synchronised singing and dialogue has not aged very well, but it's still a joy to watch. I had not seen this in almost 10 years, and I still enjoyed it. Being an Al Jolson fan, it a treat to watch him do his thing.
The future of film was forever changed when Jolson spoke those immortal words "You ain't heard nothing yet!".
