Review of The Jane Austen Book Club (2007) by Rayissa N — 04 Dec 2011
I love me a good romantic movie, esp with some good funny moments in it. Add in a string female cast and jimmy smitts and I'm in. The story lines mirrored Austen's from various books albeit with modern twists.
Many of the stories were about women finding themselves, their strength, esp with the help of their female friends. All of us would wish for a group of female friends like this - few of us would ever experience this.
Grab some wine, invite your best girlies over, and pass the dark chocolate snacks. You'll like it! And for the men, you'll learn about what's important, so it's certainly not a wasted movie for you.
