Review of The Island (2006) by Christopher H — 05 May 2012
Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson exude perfect chemistry in this almost retelling of previous films including Logan's Run. As much shit as Michael Bay gets, he is able to blend an interesting story with unrivaled events, plus he can blow things up better than most of his peers.
With a definite blockbuster movie feel and an aura of fellow science fiction films like Minority Report and The 6th Day, The Island is a win.
