Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Reid H — 24 Jun 2012
Obviously the Brit film industry is as liberal as hollywierd. Thatcher is a historic character who went from the most common of people to having the Queen show up for her 80th Birthday and owning a huge roil in British history.
Giving her dementia as large a part of her story is an obvious and shameful attempt to make a great conservative leader look silly.
Margaret Thatcher did many things in her life and now has dementia. The movie tells a story about someone with dementia remembering some great things she did in life.
In "A Bronx Tale" Lorenzo teaches his son... "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent." I think he sums up this movie wasting talented actors and a talented subject to produce politically motivated drivel.
