Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Brent C — 24 Jan 2014
A pretty engaging film which is wholly dominated and rightfully so by Meryl Streep's portrayal of Thatcher. Although this may have been part of the intent it was still pleasantly surprising how intimate and personal a light the film shone on Thatcher's personal life, especially in her final years.
It was very interesting to see the dichotomy between the public Iron Lady persona and the Thatcher as an elderly widow.
