Review of The Invisible Man Returns (1940) by Tristan D — 27 May 2009
A very fine sequel. Vincent Price fills the shoes of Claude Rains nicely and adds a more sympathetic spin to his incarnation of the title character. Like the original it also benefits from a great supporting cast, especially Hardwicke and Kellaway.
There are some truly powerful moments and the scene with the scarecrow is very poigiant.
