Review of The Insider (1999) by Francis C — 13 May 2008
Pacino and Crowe were great but it was the supporting actors that really made this movie great. Phillip Baker Hall, Christopher Plummer, and Bruce Magill were awesome, but even people who only had small roles like Wigand's boss(M.
Emmet Walsh) and the Mississipi District Attorney brought a lot to the table. Just a quality movie; gripping yet without any real action, which says something about the actors and the director.
