Review of The Informer (1935) by Paul D — 06 Feb 2014
Victor McLagen dominates the performances in what is an 'Honour Among Thieves' themed story set during Irish independence struggles. Whilst it's a sturdy direction from John Ford he's clearly still learning here as it's not one of his best, only in the second part of the remake does it hold the interest.
