Review of The Incident (1967) by Tor M — 10 Oct 2018
Some young men are up to trouble as they slang around town, robbing people and provoke everyone on they're way. They end up in a subway car and this is where they really start they're game. We see the stories of everyone in the car. How they get to the station and why they are there - we get to know them a little bit. It's a very nice build up, for 45 minutes or so, then Joe and Artie (acted by Tony Musante and Martin Sheen) enters. They are up for fuzz.
Original setting, and brutal realism at it's best. It's almost like an old version of "Funny Games", just with an ever cooler setting. Very underrated film and very unknown. The cast is great and the performances are really good.
A remake could be kind of nice. Maybe with an even better mixture of passengers and victims.
8.5 out of 10 casts.
