Review of The Immigrant (2013) by Milo M — 27 May 2014
I liked this movie a lot. I thought Joaquin Phoenix did some amazing acting. The storyline is a bit dark but the characters were very interesting. It is a movie about shame, forgiveness, manipulation, love, spirituality self sacrifice, selfishness, jealousy and desperation.
Oh yes and prostitution.
