A remarkably brilliant outing by director Ang Lee, this film felt eerily similar to American Beauty in the sense that it deals with adultery and familial turmoil. It features a wonderful ensemble cast, with notable performances by Kevin Kline and Joan Allen.
This film ultimately succeeds in capturing the torment and angst that engulfs a family plagued by unstable relationships.
