Review of The Ice Storm (1997) by Bill S — 01 Nov 2013
Watched this again, 15+ years after it's release. The performances are strong, their isolation so perfectly captured by the director. Easily Ang Lee's best work. But I think the enduring feel of this film is that it captures American culture as it sheds it's adolescence and moves forward into a discomforting maturity.
