It's just not bad enough to be interesting... The plot and story steals from everywhere; Star Wars, Alien, Mad Max 2 - the list goes on - but without originality or affection. It really just gets dumber and dumber as the movie grinds away towards it's cheesy ending.
Some credit for the fact that the characters watch Rollerball on tv...
