It was somewhere around the scene at the castration factory that I realized that perhaps this wasn't going to be the adventures of the most swashbuckling pirates in the galaxy that I thought it was going to be.
This movie only got weirder and weirder until it was so absurd that it was almost unwatchable. This could have been a camp classic if the filmmakers had had any ounce of restraint.
