Easily in my top five movies of all time! Paul Newman gives one of the greatest performances ever on screen! Jackie Gleason and George C. Scott easily match Newman's performance. For it's time, this movie blows a lot of movies out of the water, even today. No pool movie will EVER beat this! Some of the best quotes in this film also.
Willie Mosconi was said to be the greatest pool player in history and he was the consultant on this movie. He also trained Paul Newman for this role and did all the stunt trick shots in this film!
