Review of The Hurt Locker (2008) by Lilys. — 12 Mar 2010
Disjointed, unrealistic, slow, dull, and pathetic are all word that should be on the cover of this movie. It had the potential to be good if it had dived into story a bit more and chosen what it wanted to be about.
Did it want to be about the relationship between the team or with the little kid? The difficulty of being in Iraq or the struggle of returning home? It touched all of those but left you wanting more. There was a lot of deep in thought staring when not easily clipping the wires of bombs.
I could rant all day about how much I was disappointed but I'll just stop abruptly like the entire movie.
