Review of The Hurricane (1999) by Prithviraj P — 19 Apr 2010
Denzel being Denzel, man he can act. I have heard that this movie takes a lot of liberties with the true story, so I will just judge it as a movie and not as fact, and in that, it is a great movie. It is touching, moving and some other words that mean that sort of thing that I can't think of right now.
The acting is great from pretty much everybody, (I particularly liked seeing Clancy Brown be in a prison movie where is a nice guy, people need to give that man more credit, he can act) and the story itself is really good.
My one complaint is that it is hard to tell how much time passes during the movie from scene to scene, but that is common with these types of movies. Plus, big ups to Toronto and Canadians for stepping up, rock that maple leaf Ruben, its nice to have you in Canada.
