Review of The Hurricane (1999) by Cham O — 26 Oct 2012
It's about a boxer Rubin Hurricane Carter. At 11 years old, he stabbed a person who is possibly a child molester and this is the start of all things with one detective who is followed him for the rest of his life.
First he was sent to State Home for Boys, Jamesburg for 21 years, but he escaped for there and join the army and became a reputed boxer. Then on his return to home the old detective got involved and convicted him for murder and sent him to prison for the rest of his life.
And then this film shows his and his newly found friends' struggle to free him. Damn interesting story. Worth watching.
