Superb performance by Washington, a dramatic and emotional portrayal of Ruben Carter that won Denzel a lot of plaudits and helped enhance his acting portfolio and added to the list of great performances by Denzel.
A shocking story of racism, corruption and a battle of hope and despair, the solitary confinement scene is incredible acting and the film is incredibly emotional, a superb film.
