Denzel terrific as usual. Fascinating story. Other actors pale in comparison to Washington (Canadian liberals, black "you're") although I like the Scottish guy that was in Four Weddings and a Funeral (John Hannah).
Dan Hedaya's detective was also not more than a characature of the racist cop.
