Let me first say it was strange at first seeing Mads outside of Hannibal. I don't remember him in the Bond movie I think it was he played in. He has just personified Hannibal!
This was a very sad and moving film. it is one thing to be a disgusting pedophile, but to be falsely accused is awful for someone. I blame that stupid teacher. That whole "children don't lie" in what world?! It really is a hard situation when a child accuses someone of something like molestation. In this case it appeared to me that the teacher and that guy she had the little girl speak to were putting words in her mouth and ideas in her head and then in to the parents heads who then turned around and fed their children ideas.
There is not way I would have stayed in that town after being found innocent and certainly no way I would have considered restarting any of those friendships.
Anyway great movie.
