Review of The Hunt (2013) by Matt M — 15 Mar 2013
The Hunt feels like a deep study of human nature, but more specifically its arrogance and distrustfulness. It's an admirable reflection made all the more poignant by its striking realism, which Vinterberg is sure to always bring to the table.
Further depth is added to the film by a master performance by Mads Mikkelsen, whose character's helplessness is painful to watch.
