Review of The Hunger Games (2012) by Aszzmo — 23 Mar 2012
The movie was very superficial. Glossed over the backstory and pretty much all of the relationships in a rush to get to the games. Then much of the tension of the games was missing, too. Not sure I would have been able to follow if I hadn't read the book.
Add the "Blair Witch" camera work, and the whole experience was disappointing.
