Review of The Hunger Games (2012) by Martyn M — 15 May 2015
How often do you get to kick off an event? Well, if your like me not very often. So, one of the best things about The Hunger Games is its momentum. And perhaps momentum best describes this film. Jennifer Lawrence certainly has momentum as Katniss Everdeen, a coveted role that is a guaranteed star maker.
Predator/Prey films always find ways of grabbing your attention and The Hunger Games is no exception. It is refreshing that this film focused on survival and not brooding, because brooding is not a great way to kick off an event.
