Review of The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939) by Molly R — 05 Mar 2007
Brilliant and heartbreaking. One of the best in the silent era...and groundbreaking in horror. Considered one of the first monster movies where the monster may actually be society...not the ugly drooling guy with the hump.
