Wow! What a movie! The casting is excellent. The acting is superb. The storyline is strong.
Cedric Hardwicke is perfect as the judge, Dom Claude Frollo, who claims to be bewitched by Esmeralda.
This is my first experience with this story. I have not read the book or watched any other version of the film. I am satisfied with this version, and therefore I won't go looking for other versions.
