Review of The House of Yes (1997) by Berneta H — 18 Dec 2007
This is certainly a stagy film, and it is just as certainly Parker Posey's film. The dialogue, true to the theater roots of this story, is wonderful. Although the music is at times overbearing, the direction mediocre, and the characterization somewhat sketchy, you rarely find a film with such well-written dialogue and such spot on acting (especially from the likes of Tori Spelling and Freddie Prince Jr.
).
