Review of The House of Yes (1997) by Bobby D — 17 Nov 2011
A very intriguing adaptation of the eponymous Wendy MacLeod play. Parker Posey is absolutely fantastic in this adaptation - she absolutely nails the role of Jackie-O to the point where she becomes a bipolar movie monster, Hannibal Lecter in pink Chanel.
She easily steals every scene she graces. Genevieve Bufold is well-suited as Miss Pascal. Unfortunately, Hamilton, Spelling, and Prinze, Jr tend to be a bit forgettable as the movie progresses. Nonetheless, the entire package is very entertaining, thanks to Posey's masterful work.
