Review of The House of the Devil (2009) by Robert I — 22 Jan 2013
Every horror fan I know has raved about this film. And for good reason! A step BACK in the RIGHT direction. This film proves that the way they used to make horror films still works today. The film offers nothing new, but it does what hasn't been done in two decades.
It's genuinely suspenseful. I'd love to see more horror films take a cue from this and revive a dead genre.
