Review of The Host (2006) by Niklas F — 05 Oct 2009

I was surprisingly pleased with this movie. Very good special effects and design of the monster. At times it got a little lost but never enough to make your bored. Not a very deep or thoughtful movie but works perfectly as a classic monster movie.

The usual monster movies these days does have a limited of story or no story at all and just focuses on â??jump out of the seatâ?? possibilities, which makes for a crappy movie. The Host did not do this and still managed to make you jump as you got interested and involved in the story line.

All in all, one of the better monster movies I have seen in a while. Good choice Clark.
