Review of The Host (2006) by Good B — 11 Aug 2018
From the poster I thought, OK maybe this will be Korea's version of Godzilla but that was a big fat NOPE. The monster is much smaller and resembled a mutant mudskipper. A lot of what goes on in this movie is characters doing things that don't make a lick of sense, and it gets downright silly at times.
No idea what any of the virus subplot had to do with anything as that was never further explored along with the lobotomy scene. I mean, seriously? what the hell was the point of that scene? My assumption is something got lost in the translation.
Whatever.
