The Host offers so much. In fact a great deal of this movie is about the people not the monster.
The story twists and weaves around the a dysfunctional family and how they unite to rescue a family member. The film is handled with a wonderful touch, at times delicate and heart breaking, at other times stirring and exciting.
I regularly recommend this film to friends and colleagues. It's superb.
