There's a HUGE shock halfway through The Homesman that drastically changes the direction of the story. I'm not sure I liked it, but I was certainly intrigued by the unconventionality of Tommy Lee Jones's western.
Him and Hilary Swank are excellent and the cinematography breathtaking.
