A very sad but beautifully filmed story about diaspora that I couldn't help crying from. Joan Chen and the two kids did a wonderful performances as the Chinese family struggling to live in Australia.
The music and rather plain colour tone were excellent in reflecting the time, the mood and the tragic theme. And I like the dreams of Tom's imaginations from the comic, very funny.
