Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Jared K — 25 Oct 2007
Very twisted, much like any other Jodorowsky film. Visually, through set design, the film is amazing to just look at. Otherwise, visually, I wasn't all that impressed for the budget that the film had, not much by todays standards, however for it's time in Mexico it was probably quite large.
As for as all the story, it is so out there that its almost hard to take Jodorowsky serious. But on the other hand that could have been intentional. Who knows. Regardless it's definitely worth seeing.
