Review of The Hitcher (1986) by Kevin M — 25 Aug 2007
If Rutger Hauer wasn't in this, seemingly channelling the spirit of Kinski here, the whole thing would fall apart like wet cardboard. The whole story could be told in 20 minutes, but instead it's stretched to an uncomfortable length.
C. Thomas Howell does not get to stretch his acting muscles, despite having a genuine crazy person to play against.
