This is a must-see film for all you sadists out there. The Ryder character played by Rutger Hauer is a brooding, taunting, sadistic, death-wish psychopath who plays a cat and mouse game with his victim all the way through the tortuous journey until the ultimate denouement.
Hauer at his malevolent, cynical best.
