Amazing movie for its time, starring my favorite actor, the mysterious, brooding and gorgeous Rutger Hauer as the psycho killer John Ryder..the Hitcher, as he creates hell for cute college kid Jim played by C Thomas Howell in an entertaining cat and mouse desert chase.
No one does unhinged better than Rutger...5/5 stars from me.
