Review of The Hitcher (1986) by Sanguinis L — 19 Dec 2008
I've always avoided this film after reading Roger Ebert's review where he panned it because of its viciousness. How wrong I was! This is a great schlock 1980s thriller that was obviously written by someone who had just read Nietzsche, watched The Terminator and loved the Doors lyric "there's a killer on the road.
" Rutger Hauer is as awesome as ever in the creepy titular role!
