Review of The Hitch-Hiker (1953) by Greg W — 21 Mar 2013
This film feels a lot like a blueprint for a lot of films that followed it. Ida Lupino is able to cram a lot of intensity in that car, but also questions the myth of masculinity by showing the men's helplessness with the situation they find themselves in.
Talman's performance as the killer is quite intense.
