Much better than the sickening 2006 and terribly bad 2007 edition of hills have eyes 1 and 2. A female gets stranded on the highway because the idiot wasn't paying attention to the road and collided with a empty car near the side of the road.
As all slasher flick goes, girl gets out of car to see if anyone was hurt. She tries calling for help on her cell but get no line, then goes yelling for help and see the freak come. It goes downhill from there, girl is captured and tortured as were any victim to be stranded on the road.
While a prisoner, she keeps seeing flashbacks of her abusive life and gets strength from that. She turns on her captor, beating him with her wits and inner strength. In the end, she is victorious. You go, girl!
