The acting is laughable, but for anyone who's a fan of the newer (and MUCh better version) of this movie, it isn't all that bad an idea to watch this movie. Unfortunatly, be prepared to laugh at the unintentionally ridiculousness of the movie rather than be frightened as you rightly should be.
