Review of The Hills Have Eyes (1977) by Ifiok O — 05 Oct 2010
It's definitely not one of Wes Craven's strongest movies, but it's a movie that is quite the brutal experience to watch if you're able to stomach survival/revenge horror at all. Wes Craven does show off a bit of his auteur style, exploring thematic elements of humanity and savagery between the two camps of characters as he did in "The Last House on the Left.
" Definitely not his worst effort, but far from his greatest.
