Review of The Hills Have Eyes (1977) by Dr. F P — 26 Apr 2013
The Cannibals here really aren't that threatening, nor creepy or disgusting enough for me to take them seriously. Just ONE change of tone and this could be a comedy. On saying that though it is a pretty good low budget horror whilst predictable it goes along quickly enough to keep caring about the family.
The Hills Have Eyes is not really a terrible movie but it's not something i'd go overboard on, the camera work is very amateur so visually there's not much to get excited about although the acting is better than an average horror of this era.
I think this is okay but it could be better.
