VERY GOOD MOVIE...
And although it may not have been completely accurate historically, I don't think the movie's intention was to present the portrait of a period in time but to give us a glimpse into the feelings and thoughts of a generation of black women who were regarded as commodities and second class citizens. The acting was superb, the dialogue was sharp and the whole script was well written and directed. I definitely recommend this movie.
