The help is a great book and story but I found myself wanting more especially after the incredible book. I felt like they shied away from a lot of the darker themes or didn't show the full picture in order to be more palatable to wider audiences. Still it's a really good movie, I just felt they could have relied heavier on what the book was about and decided more thoroughly what the movie would focus most on instead of dividing time equally and leaving so much out. Overall I would still recommend this movie but after you have read the incredible novel.
